A village this size means no supermarket, no clinic and limited public transport; you will drive for most things. In exchange you get space, low housing costs by Wisconsin standards, and immediate access to the lakes, the river and the state parks that people travel hours to reach. Whether that trade is a good one depends entirely on how much you like driving.
